Terms of use

CardEntry is operated by Matthew Mc Gregor, Eckertstraße 30m/17A, 8020 Graz, Austria (email: matt@cardentry.app). These terms apply to the website cardentry.app, the web app and the connection of CardEntry to AI assistants as a connector. Terms of users that differ from these do not apply.

CardEntry recognises trading cards in uploaded photos, suggests the matching Cardmarket version and creates files from them for import into TCG PowerTools and other sales channels. Recognition is automated and produces suggestions. Please check the results before you use them for listings.

CardEntry is not affiliated with Cardmarket or TCG PowerTools. You place listings on marketplaces yourself; the terms of the respective marketplace apply.

We aim for high availability but do not owe uninterrupted operation. Maintenance and outages can limit the service at times.

You need a user account to use CardEntry. The exception is guests who use a shared link to take photos into a user’s session and correct cards there. The details you give at registration must be correct. Keep your login details secret. You are responsible for actions taken through your account insofar as you are at fault for any misuse.

The free credits for new accounts are given once per person. We may block accounts created only to receive them more than once.

One credit processes one card image. You buy credits in packages at the prices shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. Purchased credits do not expire as long as the account exists.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Credits are added once the payment is confirmed. As a small business under § 6 (1) no. 27 of the Austrian VAT Act, we do not charge VAT.

Credits are tied to the account, cannot be transferred and are not paid out in money, unless section 5, section 10 or the law provides otherwise.

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the purchase without giving reasons. A clear statement by email to matt@cardentry.app or by post to the address in section 1 is enough, for example using the form below. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before it expires. We refund the purchase price within 14 days using the payment method you paid with.

The right of withdrawal expires as soon as the credits are added to your account, provided you expressly agreed before the purchase that CardEntry provides the credits before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. You give this consent in the checkout; a purchase is not possible without it. The confirmation is on your invoice.

Only upload images of trading cards for which you hold the necessary rights, and no images showing people, addresses or other confidential information. Interfering with operation, circumventing access restrictions and bulk automated retrieval outside the interfaces provided for it are not allowed.

Your images and data remain yours. You grant us the rights we need to store and process them for the service. How long images are kept is set out in the privacy policy. You may use the export files you create freely.

You can connect CardEntry to third-party services, for example eBay, or as a connector to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT. Their own terms apply to these services. A connected assistant acts on your behalf: whatever it changes, approves or deletes in your account at your request counts as your own input.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. We are not liable for slight negligence to the extent permitted by law. This also applies to damage that arises because results were not checked before use, for example incorrectly placed listings.

You can have your account deleted at any time by email. Remaining credits lapse on deletion. In the event of serious or repeated breaches of these terms, we may block or terminate an account. If we terminate without such a reason, we refund purchased, unused credits pro rata.

We adapt these terms when the service or the legal situation changes. We notify signed-up users of changes by email in advance. For credits you have already bought, the terms at the time of purchase continue to apply.

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country in which you habitually reside. For businesses, the place of jurisdiction is Graz.
